ESL Adjectives of Opinion Board Game - Vocabulary and Speaking: Forming Sentences from Prompts, Freer Practice - Group Work In this creative opinion adjectives board game, students practice making sentences with adjectives of opinion. Students take it in turns to roll the dice and move their counter along the board. When a student lands on an adjective of opinion square, they make a sentence with the adjective. The other group members listen and judge the sentence. If it is grammatically correct and appropriate, the student writes the noun modified by the adjective of opinion in the square. For example, if a student landed on the adjective 'powerful', they might say, 'My car is very powerful.' Since 'powerful' modifies 'car', they write 'car' in the square using a coloured pen. The word 'car' then cannot be used with any adjective of opinion for the rest of the game, so each noun can only be used once. If the sentence is not correct, the student goes back two squares. When a student reaches the finish, the game ends. The student with the most nouns on the board wins the game. show less
